The Senior Director of Construction Operations at CRB will spearhead operational leadership across construction activities in the Denver region, collaborating closely with the VP of Regional Operations. This pivotal role encompasses the oversight of construction operations, providing strategic vision and thought leadership, while ensuring effective tactical management of the construction business on a daily basis. The Senior Director is ultimately accountable for managing the risk portfolio of all active projects, guaranteeing the implementation of robust standards and procedures at the project level, along with maintaining comprehensive business operation systems.
In this capacity, the Senior Director will engage with Market and Office Leaders both regionally and company-wide, as well as liaising with leadership from various Enterprise Service groups to enhance regional business operations.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at operating on a business level while possessing the skills necessary to resolve escalated project and operational challenges. It is anticipated that 40% of the Senior Director's time will focus internally on business operations, while 60% will be externally oriented through networking with clients and trade partners, strategic recruitment, and senior project leadership.

- Lead various Regional Operations groups to ensure project delivery standardization and consistency, including but not limited to – EH&S, Estimating, Cost Controls, Planning & Scheduling, and Procurement.
- Champion a robust safety program, achieving top-quartile safety performance as per CII metrics within the industry.
- Attract and recruit top-tier talent to CRB.
- Cultivate a strong safety culture that aligns with CRB’s commitment to a safe workplace, both in the office and on-site.
- Develop and uphold effective risk management procedures for overseeing the region’s project portfolio, regularly reviewing project metrics and KPIs to proactively mitigate risks.
- Establish and maintain solid business operation procedures to ensure proper project staffing.
- Collaborate with Office and Market Leaders to monitor and assess business operations KPIs and provide necessary support.
- Analyze project execution and operational trends to implement improvement strategies.
