Role Overview
As the Senior Director of Digital Marketing, you will be pivotal in steering GitLab's growth as we transition from a DevSecOps platform to an intelligent orchestration platform for software teams and AI agents. Your mission will be to translate this strategic shift into impactful digital initiatives that generate measurable pipeline growth while enhancing the team's capacity to scale effectively and expeditiously.
Reporting directly to the VP of Growth Marketing, you will be an integral member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing the digital growth engine encompassing account-based marketing, integrated campaigns, and paid media strategies. Your success will be measured by pipeline generation, velocity improvements at various stages, and expansion revenue, collaborating closely with the Sales team to ensure shared accountability for outcomes beyond mere lead handoffs.
This role demands a blend of strategic insight and hands-on execution: you will define GitLab's competitive stance in the market, optimize significant paid media budgets through disciplined experimentation, and drive alignment across marketing and sales efforts to achieve sustained growth.
