About the job
Zenas BioPharma is a pioneering clinical-stage global biopharmaceutical firm dedicated to leading the way in developing and commercializing groundbreaking therapies for patients with autoimmune diseases. Our strategic approach combines the expertise of our seasoned leadership team with a meticulous product candidate acquisition strategy aimed at identifying, acquiring, and developing innovative product candidates worldwide that offer significant clinical advantages to patients suffering from autoimmune conditions. We are currently advancing two late-stage molecules with immense potential: obexelimab and orelabrutinib. Obexelimab, our flagship product candidate, is a unique bifunctional monoclonal antibody engineered to target both CD19 and FcγRIIb, prevalent in B cell lineage, to inhibit the activity of cells involved in various autoimmune diseases without depleting them. We believe that the distinct mechanism of action and the self-administered, subcutaneous injection regimen of obexelimab could effectively address the pathogenic role of B cell lineage in chronic autoimmune diseases. Orelabrutinib represents a potentially best-in-class, highly selective CNS-penetrant, oral small molecule Bruton’s Tyrosine Kinase (BTK) inhibitor with the potential to tackle compartmentalized inflammation and disease progression in Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Our earlier stage initiatives include a preclinical, potentially best-in-class, oral IL-17AA/AF inhibitor and a preclinical, brain-penetrant, oral TYK2 inhibitor.
We are on the lookout for exceptional talent who share our passion for patient care and possess a proven track record in acquiring, developing, and commercializing products globally. Our team members enjoy a dynamic learning environment that fosters both personal and organizational success as we strive to establish ourselves as a global leader in immunology and autoimmune disease treatment, embodying our core values of Transparency, Relationships, Urgency, Excellence, and Innovation – TRUE Innovation!
