Role Overview: Senior Director of Performance Marketing (Remote)
This senior leadership role focuses on building and executing Hungryroot’s offline and partnership channel strategy. The Senior Director of Performance Marketing will oversee customer acquisition efforts across TV/CTV, Direct Mail, Influencer, Affiliate, and Podcast channels, while also seeking out new opportunities as the business evolves.
The position calls for a marketer who combines creative storytelling with data-driven analysis and is comfortable using AI tools to improve team efficiency. The Senior Director will work within a small team, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution, and report to senior marketing leadership. Collaboration with Creative, Data Science, Finance, and Growth teams is central to driving measurable, scalable results.
What You Will Do
Channel Ownership and Strategy
- Own the strategy, planning, and execution for TV/CTV, Direct Mail, Influencer, Affiliate, and Podcast channels. Manage budgets, vendor partnerships, and performance metrics with a focus on efficiency and growth.
- Develop annual and quarterly plans for each channel, setting growth targets, allocating budgets, and establishing measurement frameworks. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Balance direct response and brand-building initiatives to drive strong channel performance.
Collaboration and Impact
This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure acquisition strategies are measurable and scalable. The Senior Director is expected to embrace both uncertainty and innovation, especially in measurement, attribution, and the use of AI for optimization.
