The Senior Electrical Engineer IV is a pivotal role within CRB, acting as the lead for electrical discipline at the project level. This position encompasses the management of electrical design and the oversight of budgets for projects that may vary from straightforward to highly intricate. A comprehensive understanding of the development of electrical documentation and its field implementation across all project phases is essential.
As the Senior Electrical Engineer IV, you will:
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Handle multiple priorities and complex tasks with ease.
- Guide and mentor electrical design and engineering staff, from Entry-Level to Senior.
- Ensure that workflows align with client expectations and project objectives.
This role may require independent work or collaboration under a Project Manager's guidance and is crucial in delivering exceptional electrical design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary electrical discipline lead for large, complex projects.
- Oversee project budgets and schedules from the perspective of electrical design.
- Interface and communicate with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Lead the programming and master planning of electrical system design.
- Ensure quality assurance for design documents and calculations.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Support construction activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, punch lists, and progress reporting.
- Develop and conduct internal training presentations on electrical design and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on proposals, resource planning, and scheduling for electrical scope of work.
