Your Impact
As a Senior Member of Axon's Video Electrical Engineering team, you will spearhead the design, development, and testing of advanced electronics that are pivotal to our state-of-the-art video products and associated devices. Your deep technical knowledge, solid grasp of engineering processes, and enthusiasm for technology will foster the creation of innovative solutions that surpass our customers' high expectations.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design of essential electronic circuits and systems.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional engineering teams to produce top-tier products.
- Guide and motivate junior engineers, promoting technical development within the team.

Your Day-to-Day
- Research, propose, and develop cutting-edge circuit designs for Axon’s next-generation video products and low-power accessories.
- Lead project team electrical engineers and design partners to ensure successful hardware project completion.
- Utilize OrCAD to create embedded mixed-signal circuit schematics, incorporating components such as application processors, image sensors, high-speed memory, RF transceivers, and more.
- Collaborate with PCB Design engineers to define, review, and enhance printed circuit board layout designs using Allegro or similar tools.
- Bring up, characterize, optimize, and debug systems and circuits using lab instruments like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Work closely with RF Engineers to integrate and validate critical RF circuitry for wireless devices.
- Evaluate design outcomes and test results to inform future iterations.
