As a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will take on the crucial responsibility of planning, coordinating, and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for power substations (230 kV and 13.8 kV), transmission and distribution lines (230 kV and 13.8 kV), low voltage electric motors (440 V), inverters, and high and low voltage cubicles. Your role will also involve managing and optimizing control systems, automation, and industrial networks, ensuring compliance with established safety and quality standards.
Additionally, you will assess and implement innovative technologies that enhance operational efficiency, asset reliability, and strategic decision-making support for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate maintenance activities for power substations, transmission and distribution lines, electric motors, frequency inverters, hoists, and high voltage cubicles.
- Manage and optimize control systems, automation, and industrial networks to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of new technologies to improve processes and increase asset availability.
- Conduct equipment startups, perform complex electrical testing, and provide technical support to operational teams, focusing on equipment reliability and safety during electrical maintenance activities.
- Assist in the monitoring of equipment life cycles by analyzing results, loss profiles, and frequent failures to propose predictive or corrective actions.
- Support engineering demands in the electrical maintenance area by developing projects for new materials, tools, processes, and procedures.
- Monitor contracts with third-party companies involved in electrical maintenance and instrumentation.
- Assist in the creation of a 52-week shutdown map to provide a global overview of equipment maintenance schedules.
- Support supervision with engineering demands in the area.
- Organize documentation for the Electrical Installations Folder.
