Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.7 to 10 years of practical experience in designing, developing, and testing electromechanical products, including but not limited to inverters, drives, servers, and network switches.Proficiency in circuit board layout for both analog and mixed signal boards.Hands-on experience with production builds and modifications of electronic products for manufacturing.Strong knowledge in designing assemblies that incorporate sheet metal, PCBA mounting, cable harnesses, electrical contacts/terminals/receptacles, springs, and fasteners.Experience in 3D CAD modeling, specifically with SolidWorks (sheet metal, plastic, cable).Capability in performing tolerance stack-up analysis.Familiarity with regulatory compliance including IEC, UL, CSA, NEMA standards, and National Electric Code.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with simulation tools for finite element analysis and thermal simulation.Knowledge of EMI/EMC and thermal impact considerations.
