The Opportunity
The team responsible for bringing Unity to visionOS and enabling real-time interaction through Play-to-Device is expanding as we prepare for an even bolder mission: adapting PolySpatial to stream Unity content into other game engines and 3D environments—both in-process and over the network.
We seek engineers who are passionate about pioneering new methods for real-time 3D runtimes to communicate and render efficiently under real-world constraints. This role positions you at the crossroads of core engine technology, high-performance networking, distributed systems, and graphics. You will have the chance to establish the foundational infrastructure for the next generation of interconnected gaming and 3D ecosystems.
As our in-house expert on the 'other side,' you will not merely port games; you will integrate entire engines. Your extensive knowledge of AAA engines will be crucial in reconciling diverging lifecycles, serialization models, networking paradigms, and resource management, ensuring synchronization between systems. This position combines hands-on engine coding, plugin and middleware development, as well as collaboration across companies.
