Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development, testing, and demonstration of new Distributed Energy Resource (DER) and Microgrid algorithm capabilities, particularly within our Microgrid control system, OPERATE.Incorporate new optimization features into the OPERATE system.Facilitate the integration of OPERATE with client communication interfaces.Develop APIs to enable communication between clients and Xendee's OPERATE.Engage with clients to either lead their project modeling or provide support based on their modeling requirements.Gather project data, utilize Xendee software technology, analyze results, and prepare presentations for clients.The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to think creatively and independently. You will explore, simulate, and optimize various components of distribution energy systems and microgrids, taking into account electrical infrastructure. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are essential for effectively engaging with our clients.

We are currently on the lookout for a full-time Senior Engineer to join our Las Vegas team, with options for remote work. In this role, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, focusing on the development of optimization algorithms and communication integration. You will also assist our internal teams in implementing AI-enabled forecasting methodologies and provide support to our clients with mathematical modeling and power flow optimization.
