About the job
Are you seeking a senior engineering position where you can transform cutting-edge sports technology into scalable, high-quality products? At Trackman, you will be instrumental in the industrialization, testing, and production of innovative hardware solutions, effectively connecting R&D and production while exerting significant technical influence and cross-functional impact.
Your Role
As a Senior Engineer in our Hardware Development & Supply team, you will serve as a pivotal technical contributor across both R&D and Production. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee that Trackman’s new and existing hardware platforms are produced consistently, at scale, and with high quality.
You will be expected to scrutinize designs, suggest enhancements, and advocate for best practices organization-wide. This will involve close collaboration with R&D hardware, tracking and software teams, in-house production, EMS suppliers, supply chain, and management.
This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives on blending hands-on engineering with technical expertise and ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish specifications and develop strategies for production and test engineering equipment to support both new and existing hardware platforms, including GHZ Radars, Computer Modules, Camera Sensors, and high-performance ADCs.
- Act as a senior technical liaison between R&D and Production, ensuring manufacturability and testability are integrated from the early design phases.
- Design, build, and validate production and test solutions for our advanced radar electronics, optics, and other technologies, including assembly fixtures, automation setups, and additional supporting electronics.
- Create automated test solutions using NI TestStand, Python, and C#, focusing on data handling, traceability, and statistical analysis.
- Conduct advanced hands-on measurements with signal generators and digital oscilloscopes for signal analysis, verification, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Engage in schematic entry, design reviews, and layout and routing of simple PCBs for test fixtures and support electronics.
- Facilitate collaboration with EMS suppliers, focusing on the transfer, ramp-up, and ongoing enhancement of testing and production methodologies.
