Key Responsibilities:Act as the Voice of the Field & Strategic Business PartnerFoster trusted relationships with sales leadership, frontline managers, and their teams to gain a profound understanding of day-to-day challenges and operational needs.Combine qualitative field feedback with quantitative data to create a balanced viewpoint.Detect patterns within the field and articulate clear problem statements and recommendations for GTM leadership.Support leadership through pre-briefs and post-briefs by identifying risks, opportunities, and focus areas related to pipeline health and execution.Facilitate two-way communication by clarifying the rationale behind process decisions and operational changes.Drive Operational Excellence & Core Sales Operating RhythmsCollaborate with sales leadership to sustain operating rhythms concerning forecasting, pipeline inspection, deal reviews, and business reviews.Ensure disciplined forecasting by assisting with pre-work, identifying risks, and following through during deal inspections and forecast discussions.Evaluate pipeline health by assessing quality versus quantity and translating insights into actionable guidance for managers and representatives.Operationalize essential sales processes effectively.

LaunchDarkly is seeking a dynamic Senior Field Operations Manager to enhance our Global Growth sales organization, which encompasses Corporate, Mid-Market, and Small Enterprise Account Executives, along with SDRs across both AMER and EMEA regions.
In this pivotal role, you will cultivate strong relationships and gain deep insights into the daily operations of the field, acting as a consultative business partner to sales leadership and frontline managers. Your objective will be to bring structure and clarity to business operations by refining operating rhythms, elevating forecast quality, and minimizing unexpected challenges related to pipeline, deal progression, and essential sales processes.
Collaboration will be key as you work closely with Sales Enablement, RevOps, Data & Insights, Marketing, and other GTM teams to translate strategic initiatives into scalable workflows that can be effectively executed by the field. This position is tailored for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments, find satisfaction in establishing order amidst uncertainty, rapidly build trust, balance empathy with accountability, and prefer to assist leaders in proactive planning rather than reactive management.
