About the Role
In light of our swift growth, we seek a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive individual to collaborate with leaders across Product, Engineering, Finance, People, and Legal. This position transcends mere number reporting; it centers on delivering insights that significantly influence revenue growth, profitability, and strategic decision-making.
The right candidate will thrive in a high-growth environment, tackle critical business challenges, manage intricate financial models, and relish cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with business leaders and the finance team to enhance forecasting, budgeting, and analytics, driving revenue growth, improving margins, and boosting operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leaders in Product, Engineering, Finance, People, and Legal to provide comprehensive financial analysis, insights, and reporting.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes across various functional areas, taking ownership of both labor and non-labor costs.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess product line profitability, margin drivers, ROI, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Manage the forecasting process and controls for headcount, contractors, and vendor expenditures.
- Benchmark and identify spending and productivity efficiencies across departments.
- Coordinate with Accounting and Engineering to align on software capitalization policies and strategies.
- Analyze historical trends and business drivers to formulate strategic recommendations for leadership.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reporting packages to senior leadership.
- Identify and implement process enhancements, automation, and improved reporting capabilities.
