Your Role
We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our Hardware team in Den Bosch and play a vital role in developing our smart camera and wearable products. You will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary, autonomous squad utilizing Agile methodologies, working alongside electrical and mechanical engineers to create the next generation of our offerings. Your contribution will be pivotal in enhancing our quality practices and elevating the capabilities of your colleagues.
In this role, you will:
- Establish and scale automation. You will design, implement, and maintain the automated testing infrastructure and test suite for embedded Linux and RTOS firmware. Proficiency in automation tools like Robot Framework, Docker, and GitHub Actions is essential, along with experience in various testing levels including integration, functional, performance, and stress testing.
- Collaborate and advise. You will work closely with Hardware, Firmware, and Application Software Engineers, as well as the System Architect, to ensure that testability is integrated into the design, leading to a reliable, scalable, and easily updatable firmware system.
- Mentor and drive quality. You will help nurture talent and promote best practices in testing, ensuring that quality remains a top priority in all our engineering efforts.
