Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with operations and pilot teams to define the capabilities and requirements of the guidance system.Design features of the guidance system for integration with flight control systems and pilot displays.Develop flight guidance algorithms for both simulation and flight software.Analyze simulation, laboratory, and flight test data to drive improvements.Assess guidance system performance through simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and flight case evaluations.Basic Qualifications:Master's degree in aerospace engineering, robotics, or a related field.8+ years of professional experience in developing guidance or motion planning algorithms for real-time vehicle systems.Proficient in C/C++ and Python software development.Strong communication skills to effectively convey system behavior to end users.Preferred Qualifications:PhD in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar advanced degree.Technical expertise in motion planning, control systems, probability theory, or optimization.Experience in developing software for safety-critical applications.Familiarity with Flight Management System certification processes.Current pilot credentials (instrument or commercial rating).
