Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and implement fluid systems for the distribution of essential gases (e.g., specialty and bulk gases) and chemicals (e.g., hydrofluoric acid, solvents), including tanks, pumps, heat exchangers, gas panels, valves, scrubbers, and abatement systems.Manage projects from inception to completion, including requirement definition, design, equipment procurement, build coordination, commissioning, and ongoing project management.Create modular systems aimed at scalable manufacturing for future solar production facilities.Utilize fluids and mechanical engineering expertise, such as P&ID development, equipment sizing, detailed fluid and thermal analysis, structural analysis, and materials selection.Conduct safety and hazard assessments (e.g., FMEAs, HAZOPs) to ensure proper design of hazardous systems, including emergency shutdown procedures and compliance with safety standards.Design and deploy data acquisition and control systems for fluid facility control and monitoring.Collaborate with process engineers to integrate fluid systems with manufacturing equipment and optimize fluid delivery rates, purity levels, and recovery/recycling of process fluids to ensure high-yield production.Assist with the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of fluid systems, partnering closely with operations, EHS, automation, and procurement teams.
