Β Role Overview
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at Whatnot plays a vital role in financial reporting, transformation, budgeting, headcount planning, and analysis. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will take charge of end-to-end forecasting for key business segments, enhancing forecasting accuracy and empowering our leaders to make informed financial decisions.
Manage all aspects of OPEX expenditures and headcount planning across various divisions, particularly focusing on Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD), with potential career growth into FP&A vertical leadership.
Enhance our internal FP&A tool, Pigment, by developing advanced modeling and reporting capabilities that support business partners.
Collaborate with organizational leaders, People Business Partners, and talent teams to understand comprehensive organizational needs regarding headcount and non-headcount expenses, functioning as a strategic partner to manage and adjust expenditures monthly.
Contribute to the annual planning cycle, owning your segments for 12 to 18 months of forward-looking projections.
Assist in the month-end closing process by analyzing budget versus actuals in comparison to previous periods, budgets, and forecasts.
Acquire familiarity with business operations, enabling you to provide actionable insights and support.
