Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:- 4+ years of accounting experience.Minimum Qualifications:- In-depth knowledge of portfolio accounting, fixed income securities, trade settlement operations, and the supporting systems.- Proven teamwork skills with the ability to assist the team in completing daily and monthly tasks.- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines under pressure.- Understanding of collective or mutual fund processes.- Proficient in PC-based systems, especially advanced skills in MS Excel.- Strong problem-solving abilities for research and reporting on various issues.- Experience in fast-paced environments with daily and periodic deadlines.- Solid background in fixed income investments.Preferred Qualifications:- CPA certification or in progress.- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field.- Client service experience, particularly with senior-level management.- Background in the financial services industry.- Experience in fund accounting, public accounting, or financial statement preparation.- Familiarity with NSCC.- Experience with PAM or equivalent securities accounting systems, SEI, or similar custodian systems.- Knowledge of S Value products.- Willingness to work overtime when necessary to complete tasks.

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a vital role in executing moderately complex fund accounting tasks for collective funds and institutional portfolios. Your daily responsibilities will include calculating net asset values, providing daily pricing to record keepers, balancing investment activities with outside parties on a monthly basis, and preparing comprehensive monthly reports.
In addition, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and delivering annual financial reports to clients and auditors. Your leadership will be crucial in coordinating the annual collective fund audits, and you will have regular interactions with senior-level professionals at client firms and their auditors.
