ABOUT THE ROLE
In your role as a Systems Designer on the Sand Table team, you will play a key role in crafting engaging and realistic gameplay systems for our next-gen wargaming and briefing capabilities in XR headsets. Collaborating closely with our creative director and AI programmers, you will design, implement, and refine pivotal gameplay features and systems that empower military users to interact meaningfully with complex simulations in immersive environments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
DESIGN OWNERSHIP & EXECUTION
- Design and develop core gameplay systems including unit behavior models, command structures, and decision-making frameworks for military simulations.
- Create detailed combat systems that accurately represent weapon effectiveness, damage modeling, and battlefield outcomes.
- Document design specifications to clearly convey system functionalities, user interactions, and anticipated results.
- Develop scenario creation tools that enable users to swiftly construct and adjust intricate military simulations.
- Balance simulation mechanics to ensure realistic user experiences.
