We are on the lookout for an accomplished Senior Hardware Design Engineer who will spearhead the development of cutting-edge electronic hardware systems from inception to production. This opportunity is perfect for a technically adept individual with extensive experience in hardware circuit design and PCB layout development, excelling in dynamic engineering environments. You will be pivotal in converting product requirements into robust, manufacturable, and scalable hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop both analog and digital hardware circuits in accordance with product specifications.
- Create comprehensive schematics and supervise multi-layer PCB layout design.
- Select appropriate components with a focus on performance, cost-effectiveness, and availability.
- Conduct circuit simulations and validate hardware performance against defined design requirements.
- Enhance PCB layout for optimal signal integrity, thermal management, and EMI/EMC compliance.
- Collaborate with firmware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware.
- Lead prototype bring-up, debugging, and testing initiatives.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Support DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues throughout validation and production phases.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to facilitate smooth product ramp-up.
- Document design processes, test results, and technical specifications effectively.
What Makes You an Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive hands-on experience in hardware circuit design, encompassing both analog and digital systems.
- Proven proficiency in PCB layout design, including multi-layer board development.
- Expertise in industry-standard PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, or similar).
- In-depth understanding of signal integrity, power electronics, and principles of high-speed design.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC design considerations and compliance standards.
- Strong debugging skills utilizing oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and laboratory equipment.
- Experience managing the entire hardware development lifecycle from concept to production.
- Knowledge of DFM, DFA, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent documentation and technical communication skills.
- A problem-solving mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over deliverables.
