Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging English lessons for senior high school students, emphasizing advanced reading skills, academic writing, verbal communication, and critical thinking.
- Prepare students for both internal assessments and external examinations through tailored instructional strategies and practice.
- Actively participate in the continuous enhancement of the high school English curriculum, focusing on literature, non-fiction analysis, and academic writing.
- Develop diverse formative and summative assessments, providing timely, constructive feedback to help track student progress and improve performance.
- Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that fosters discussion, debate, independent thought, and effective study habits.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying student proficiency levels, supporting those needing reinforcement and those pursuing elite university pathways.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide literacy initiatives.
- Encourage the development of 4C skills (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity) and promote cross-cultural awareness through course material and activities.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and developmental goals.
- Contribute to the broader school community by leading or assisting with English-related clubs (e.g., debate club, Model UN, writing club) and participating in school events and administrative duties.
