Key Responsibilities:
- Timely reconciliation of inventory-related general ledger balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare, review, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies and reconciling items.
- Conduct reviews of inventory reserve calculations.
- Prepare adjusting journal entries and month-end closing entries.
- Ensure transaction procedures comply with general or specific authorizations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements by analyzing problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating control requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of business transactions.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and reporting to highlight issues and opportunities for enhancement.
- Assist in or lead special projects as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
