The Senior IT Program Manager in the Office of the CIO is a pivotal strategic role responsible for spearheading a transformative technology program that aligns with our delivery frameworks. This position entails leading cross-departmental initiatives across both technology and business sectors, ensuring that all efforts are synchronized with organizational objectives while achieving quantifiable results.
As this program is newly established, it presents a rare chance to influence its strategy, governance, and execution from the ground up, all while functioning within a well-defined delivery and governance structure. Success in this position requires a robust program management background, adeptness at navigating dynamic environments, and exceptional stakeholder leadership skills to foster clarity, momentum, and impactful results across the organization.
This is an on-site role located in Seattle, WA, featuring a hybrid work schedule where you will work from our welcoming, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.
Core Responsibilities
Program & Project Management
- Define and oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources using established methodologies.
- Identify risks, manage scope alterations, and facilitate effective issue resolution.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation, including project plans, requirements, success metrics, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with various project teams to identify dependencies, eliminate obstacles, and ensure program coherence.
Intake Management
- Act as the primary contact for new technology requests.
- Conduct impact assessments in collaboration with Technology and Finance teams.
- Monitor and relay intake progress, decisions, and results to stakeholders.
Partner & Internal Communication
- Serve as the liaison between internal teams and Powered by Trupanion partners for gathering requirements and sharing roadmap updates.
- Provide transparent updates regarding sequencing, milestones, and delivery timelines.
Reporting & Visibility
- Generate regular reports on program intake, roadmap status, and delivery progress.
- Proactively highlight risks, blockers, and cross-project dependencies to project and product leadership.
