Qualifications
What You Will Be Doing
Support laboratory operations: perform daily routine equipment maintenance, schedule calibration and preventative maintenance, organize lab processes, and assist with general lab activities to foster an efficient working environment.
Act as the primary point of contact for lab-related service vendors and contractors, managing stockroom inventory, lab coat laundering, and pipette management.
Install, inventory, maintain, troubleshoot, and coordinate services for lab equipment, retiring it when necessary.
Utilize asset tracking tools and documentation platforms (e.g., spreadsheets, ticketing systems, inventory management systems, and internal databases) to track equipment, inventory, and service records.
Document, organize, and analyze service agreements and reports from calibration and maintenance processes conducted by external vendors.
Perform additional duties as assigned in collaboration with the Laboratory Operations team.
Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), Facilities, Logistics, and IT teams to ensure a safe and functional lab environment, acting as a trusted partner to identify gaps, enhance lab processes, and escalate risks or issues as necessary.
Work closely with R&D stakeholders and procurement and finance partners to evaluate R&D equipment needs.
