Type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover), Immediate Start
About the Role:
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract maternity cover requiring an immediate start. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Localisation Program Manager to take ownership of and enhance our Product localisation efforts.
The localisation initiatives at Klaviyo focus on linguistic excellence, collaboration, and scalability. We oversee the translation and cultural adaptation of all customer-facing content, ranging from performance-driven marketing materials to original training programs, the Klaviyo application and website, as well as our partner and developer portals. Our mission goes beyond mere translation; we aim to deliver high-quality localisation that feels locally relevant and drives international growth for both our customers and Klaviyo. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all localisation for Product, Help Centre, and Customer Education, working closely with these teams to deliver high-quality, locally relevant experiences across all supported languages.
- Managing all language contractors (including freelance linguists, agencies, and other language vendors), ensuring we have the appropriate resources, quality standards, costs, and workflows to meet current and future localisation demands.
- Contributing to the overall scaling of localisation, which includes managing machine translation for all languages and assisting in the development of an AI-first translation platform that enables faster, more scalable, and cost-effective localisation for Klaviyo.
