The Senior Manager – Advisory for Client Representation & Contract Management is pivotal in steering high-level advisory initiatives across project controls, engineering governance, commercial management, and contract administration for extensive EPC/EP&C projects.
This position acts as a strategic liaison among the Client, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Controls, and Finance teams, guaranteeing that project execution is technically compliant, commercially viable, and in sync with contractual commitments. The role is vital for risk management, schedule governance, claims management, and fostering continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling Oversight
- Direct the development and maintenance of P6 project schedules, including S-curves, progress curves, and critical path analyses.
- Facilitate P6 planning workshops with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor milestone payments and ensure the accuracy and currency of related planning documentation.
- Analyze engineering and procurement schedule performance to identify deviations.
Technical Governance & Engineering Coordination
- Review and ensure the alignment of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Construction Execution Plan (CEP) across disciplines.
- Lead or assist in weekly technical and engineering coordination meetings, both internally and with HHI.
- Evaluate engineering deliverables, including technical submittals, document registers, and progress of IFC/IFD documentation.
- Review Design Change Notices (DCNs) and Field Change Notices (FCNs) for accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Assess Management Plans (ITP, HSE, Environment, Transport Plans) for regulatory compliance.
- Oversee shipping, transportation, and bonded-zone-related technical and regulatory requirements.
Procurement, Logistics & Commercial Reviews
- Examine commercial documentation, including Letters of Credit, insurance instruments, and compliance records.
- Manage shipment schedules ensuring completeness of documentation.
- Lead or support the tender processes for third-party QC inspection services.
- Review Procurement Plans and monitor procurement progress and readiness.
- Engage in bi-weekly procurement meetings with vendors/EPC companies to address constraints.
Construction Coordination & Site Governance
- Participate in weekly construction coordination meetings with vendors/EPC companies.
- Assist in the review and verification of construction progress, site measurements, and re-measurement activities.
- Ensure alignment of technical aspects with construction and timely resolution of site-related issues.
Progress Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation
- Review monthly EP and Construction progress reports, ensuring accurate documentation and communication of project status.
