Key Responsibilities
- Direct the development and implementation of cultural and religious compliance strategies, policies, and procedures across various project portfolios.
- Offer expert advice on Islamic compliance issues to project teams, contractors, and third-party partners.
- Examine project plans, work practices, and contractor activities to ensure adherence to Islamic principles and local cultural standards; suggest and oversee corrective actions when necessary.
- Facilitate approvals and clearances related to cultural and religious considerations with both internal stakeholders and external authorities.
- Supervise third-party engagements and ensure contractors and vendors comply with cultural and religious requirements.
- Design and conduct training programs to raise awareness among employees and contractors regarding cultural sensitivity, Islamic practices relevant to the workplace, and compliance expectations.
- Act as the main point of contact with community leaders, religious officials, and government entities on cultural and religious matters.
- Evaluate compliance performance, create reports, and advise senior management on risks, incidents, and mitigation strategies.
- Assist the PMO / PMC in embedding cultural and religious requirements into project governance, procurement, and contract management procedures.
