Summary
The NFL’s Internal Audit Department is on the lookout for a Senior Manager specializing in Internal Audit & Risk Advisory Services for Information Security. This pivotal role involves leading and participating in audits focused on the League's Information Technology (IT) operations along with compliance reviews of member clubs, stadiums, and League contractors. A solid background in audit is essential to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems, covering aspects such as network and cloud architecture, infrastructure and endpoint security, vulnerability management, and general IT controls (ITGC). This role is highly visible, requiring the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently across various environments including the League, clubs, stadiums, and contractors. The selected candidate will interact directly with senior leadership, preparing trend reports for executive leadership and managing several external resources while exercising sound judgment and discretion in sensitive matters. This position reports to the Senior Director, Internal Audit & Risk Advisory Services, who oversees all information security audit functions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Director to formulate and schedule annual audit plans.
- Plan, manage, and execute all work program steps for League department audits and reviews of member clubs, stadiums, and contractors.
- Oversee multiple external staff during the conduct of audits and reviews.
- Provide regular updates on engagement status.
- Discuss audit findings with League, club, and stadium management.
- Draft reports for the Senior Director’s review and execution.
- Contribute to presentations in both content and delivery to League, club, and stadium management.
- Conduct follow-up work as required to assess corrective actions taken by League, club, and stadium management to address previous audit observations.
- Monitor quality, efficiency, and performance metrics, reporting statuses to the Senior Director.
- Manage department-wide objectives alongside other Audit colleagues.
- Assist in defining and implementing transformative initiatives to enhance Internal Audit’s core mission, capabilities, and long-term value to the League.
