Qualifications
You will bring:Proven experience in managing Pillar Two projectsIn-depth knowledge of Pillar Two regulationsRobust legal analysis and drafting capabilitiesStrong grasp of tax accounting principlesAn analytical mindset with a hands-on approach, enjoying the review of complex calculationsA collaborative, curious, and resourceful dispositionFamiliarity with tax technology and data-driven calculation tools; experience with vendor Pillar Two solutions is advantageousUnderstanding of accounting frameworks such as IFRS (IAS 12 amendments), US GAAP (ASC 740), or comparable local GAAPs relevant to Pillar TwoAt least 6 years of experience for a Manager role or 8+ years for a Senior Manager role in international tax, transfer pricing, or tax accounting, whether in an accounting firm, law firm, or in-house settingA university degree in tax economics, tax law, or accountingInternational candidates are encouraged to apply; however, experience in the Dutch (or similar) professional environment is highly preferred.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring the seamless delivery of projects while nurturing and mentoring junior team members in their professional growth. You will uphold the highest standards of quality in global Pillar Two calculations, analyses, and deliverables.
As the primary point of contact for clients and auditors, you will lead discussions and presentations, guiding clients in establishing strong and defensible accounting positions amid the evolving Pillar Two guidance. Moreover, you will enhance the team's presence in the market through relationship building and thought leadership, all while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Collaborating closely with BDO’s global Pillar Two leaders, you'll also enjoy opportunities for occasional international travel. This position is based in our Amstelveen office, preferred due to team dynamics, with possible alternatives in Rotterdam or Eindhoven.
