About the Position:
Within TRM's Intelligence organization, a dynamic team of analysts and investigators is focused on monitoring illicit cryptocurrency activities in critical areas of financial crime and national security. This includes tackling challenges posed by nation-state actors, cybercrime, counterterrorism financing, sanctions evasion, and more.
As the Senior Manager of Threat Intelligence Operations, you will spearhead a collection of specialized pods, each composed of skilled practitioners and overseen by domain-focused leaders. This is a unique chance to influence both the strategic direction and cultural ethos of an intelligence organization pioneering work at the intersection of blockchain analytics, investigative expertise, and national security.
Your Impact:
Establish and cultivate a high-performing intelligence organization that addresses multiple threat categories by setting analytical standards, developing leadership within teams, and fostering a culture of rigor and continuous learning.
Engage directly with the most challenging issues your teams encounter, tackling complex casework, methodological inquiries, and analytical challenges across various threat domains.
Champion innovative approaches within your team, introducing new tools, sources, and methodologies to continuously enhance workflows and deliverables.
Identify capability gaps and oversee the recruitment, training, and organizational design necessary to bridge those gaps.
Translate your team's intelligence outputs into impactful results beyond the immediate organization through strategic partnerships, government collaborations, and participation in external forums.
Act as a mentor and thought partner to others, guiding them in their development as the next generation of intelligence leaders at TRM.
Qualifications:
A proven background in intelligence or investigative work with strong leadership capabilities.
Experience in managing complex investigations related to financial crime or national security.
