Your Role as a TAM Manager
We are in search of a driven and experienced Senior Manager, Technical Account Management (TAM) to lead and cultivate a team of Technical Account Managers. In this pivotal role, you will supervise TAMs dedicated to our clients, ensuring exceptional levels of customer satisfaction, technical empowerment, and strategic alignment. Your leadership will be crucial in delivering top-notch security and Identity Access Management (IAM) guidance to help our customers meet their business goals. You will enhance operational excellence, promote cross-functional collaboration, and ensure your team provides outstanding service tailored to the unique needs of our expanding commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, mentor, and guide a team of highly skilled Technical Account Managers focused on commercial accounts.
- Establish clear performance objectives and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities to ensure team success.
- Collaborate with leaders across TAM, Customer Success, Sales, and Product to embed customer-first principles within the team.
- Craft a compelling vision for the organization and for our clients.
- Define and execute the strategy and detailed operational plans for Okta’s New Product Introduction/Specialist TAM team, driving improved customer time to value, renewal rates, and growth for new and additional products.
- Develop and implement processes, customer journeys, and metrics to enhance customer business outcomes.
