Responsibilities:Develop and implement M&P best practices and testing infrastructure for FreeformUtilize equipment to assess material properties including tensile strength, surface roughness, and microstructureMonitor and report on quality metrics for printed components, focusing on dimensional accuracy, defect rates, and surface qualityAnalyze data, draw insights, and effectively communicate findingsCollaborate with the process development team to integrate material insights into the optimization of printing processes, including supporting advanced machine learning modelsCreate and enhance protocols for measuring and assessing material qualityAutomate M&P procedures to minimize human interventionDevise continuous improvement plans to boost performance, reliability, and scalability of our systemsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or Mechanical Engineering7+ years of experience in materials engineering, with a strong emphasis on metals
