Qualifications
The successful candidate willLead multiple projects and coordinate staff across various regions, ensuring local engineering teams are well-informed of project-specific design criteria and providing training on control systems design.Ensure the quality of designs produced by teams through multiple review points.Oversee engineering project execution, aligning with budget, schedule, and scope while maintaining client satisfaction.Monitor project milestones and deliverables, ensuring compliance with quality standards and preparing regular status updates.Facilitate and document meetings with staff and clients, coordinating project personnel, vendors, and consultants.Engage actively in business development initiatives by contributing to RFP responses, participating in client interviews, and nurturing client relationships.Lead the design of building automation, smoke control, and electrical system control systems for projects.Collaborate frequently with architects, engineers, and clients as part of our integrated design approach.Conduct technical reviews of interdisciplinary teams prior to document issuance.Represent DLR Group in meetings with owners, clients, and suppliers.Mentor emerging professional engineers and support the development and implementation of firm-wide controls standards.

This position entails participating in the design of building systems and preparing detailed drawings and specifications.
