This position offers a flexible remote work schedule and can be based in various locations across the U.S. where AECOM has offices.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Center Heat Rejection and HVAC System Design: Develop and design Heat Rejection and HVAC systems tailored for data centers, focusing on cooling requirements, cooling loads, system flexibility, airflow management, and compliance with industry standards.
Cooling System Selection: Choose suitable air/water side cooling systems for data centers, including Fan wall units, CRAHs, and in-row cooling solutions based on specific requirements.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis: Perform internal and external CFD simulations to optimize airflow and cooling efficiency, recommending design modifications as necessary.
Redundancy and Fault Tolerance: Create HVAC designs with features ensuring continuous operation during equipment failures or maintenance activities.
