Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Design, analyze, develop, and test systems including actuators, mechanisms, and structural modifications for remote piloted aircraft.Take ownership of hardware from initial design through to flight testing and certification.Lead interdisciplinary teams to drive design and performance decisions to completion.Foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Over 5 years of professional experience in developing mechanical systems.Expertise in at least one of the following: Design, Analysis, Manufacturing, Testing, or Certification.Proven track record of successful project ownership.Preferred Qualifications:Solid understanding of structural analysis and mechanical failure modes.Ability to evaluate and prioritize mechanical architectures for safety and reliability.Experience with aircraft or other safety-critical mechanical systems.Familiarity with engineering infrastructure development.
