Join our dynamic Real Estate team in Spain as a Senior MEP Cost Manager. This exciting role focuses on leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) deliverables within various projects, including direct MEP commissions such as asset upgrade works.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and client-facing, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously. Responsibilities include establishing early budgets, conducting accurate cost estimates, managing design teams to adhere to budgets, overseeing tendering and procurement processes, and providing comprehensive post-contract reporting to clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in feasibility studies and drafting procurement reports.
- Estimating and cost planning, culminating in the presentation of final cost plans to both internal and external clients.
- Managing the tendering process and pre-qualification stages.
- Effectively addressing post-contract cost variances and overseeing change control processes.
- Taking personal responsibility for conducting cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate financial oversight.
- Producing and presenting monthly post-contract cost reports to clients.
- Contributing to value engineering initiatives.
- Negotiating and finalizing accounts.
- Collaborating with clients and other consultants throughout all project phases.
