CGS Federal is on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team, dedicated to the assessment, advancement, and upkeep of a large-scale network initiative encompassing both wired and wireless infrastructure along with essential hardware and software solutions. This role is pivotal in evaluating the current configuration of disparate networks and designing and implementing a cohesive network infrastructure that meets both wireless and wired requirements alongside software needs. Additionally, the position involves providing guidance on the necessary hardware and software to ensure comprehensive support for this integrated infrastructure, accompanied by systems testing, vulnerability assessments, and quality assurance critical to executing the new design.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the NPS network infrastructure;
- Enhance infrastructure monitoring and reporting capabilities utilizing network management software;
- Create, maintain, and deliver documentation related to the network infrastructure within the NPS environment;
- Analyze current best practices and offer recommendations for the architecture, design, management, and operation of the network infrastructure;
- Administer the Cloudpath (or equivalent) onboarding process, monitor and troubleshoot wireless network performance, maintain wireless network infrastructure, and implement necessary security patches and software/firmware updates during standard work hours;
- Evaluate the NPS network infrastructure and propose enhancements and optimizations;
- Develop and execute testing protocols for new infrastructure.
