Qualifications
Your Responsibilities:
Design and manage line layouts, standard operating procedures, and equipment specifications for intricate assemblies by segmenting them into a logical flow of subassemblies and processes.
Define, develop, and oversee initial prototype lines for module and system-level assembly.
Implement calibration and assembly checks throughout the process to ensure compliance with design specifications and to identify issues early.
Analyze production lines; establish processes, set metrics, and continuously improve them.
Engage with contract manufacturers and suppliers to enhance their production capabilities.
Collaborate with design engineers to recommend and implement design modifications for improved manufacturing.
Your Profile:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
Proven experience with in-house manufacturing and/or contract manufacturers, with a plus for international supplier experience.
A proactive approach to problem-solving.
Demonstrated success in bringing electro-mechanical products to market on schedule and within budget.
Experience in defining and assessing production line performance metrics.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, etc.).
