As a Senior Offensive Security Engineer, your expertise will be essential in evaluating the security of applications, networks, and systems through cyberattack simulations. The Security Department at Ivanti is tasked with enforcing and upholding comprehensive information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures throughout the organization. Your efforts will significantly contribute to safeguarding Ivanti, our data, and our valued customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the security of applications, networks, and systems by simulating cyberattacks.
- Oversee disclosure programs, collaborating with internal teams to prioritize and address vulnerabilities while conducting penetration tests.
- Establish and sustain communication channels with the security research community to raise awareness about the responsible disclosure program and foster participation.
- Receive and assess vulnerability reports submitted by external researchers through various platforms, including email, web forms, or bug bounty channels.
- Work alongside internal security teams to gauge the severity and implications of reported vulnerabilities, prioritizing them for resolution based on risk.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between researchers and relevant stakeholders, including development teams, IT operations, and product managers, to ensure timely resolution of identified security concerns.
- Monitor the status of vulnerability remediation efforts to guarantee that issues are resolved within agreed-upon timelines.
