About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Operations Research Analyst to support the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND). This pivotal position will facilitate cross-portfolio integration, offering analytical and operational insights to guide planning, decision-making, and evaluation of CBRN defense initiatives and capabilities.
This role is located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, and is contingent upon contract award. A Secret Clearance is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced operations research and analytical assessments to support JPEO-CBRND cross-portfolio integration and mission planning.
- Lead the design and implementation of analytical models, simulations, and decision-support tools to evaluate capability gaps, performance metrics, and operational impacts.
- Collaborate with government and contractor teams to facilitate scenario-based assessments, technology trade studies, and integrated planning initiatives.
- Convert complex data into actionable insights that inform acquisition strategies, resource allocation, and test planning.
- Assist in preparing analytical deliverables, including technical briefings, white papers, reports, and data visualizations.
- Engage in stakeholder meetings, working groups, and test/evaluation events; summarize findings and propose enhancements.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior analysts and contribute expertise across relevant task areas.
