Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Identify and engage new strategic security channel partners to boost revenue.Empower existing partners through security training, strategic planning, and collaborative selling efforts.Develop security sales pipelines via channel partners to generate new revenue streams.Oversee the technical and marketing components of integrated security partnership launches.Conduct regular business reviews with partners to ensure accountability and track success metrics.Collaborate closely with Datadog’s regional enterprise and commercial sales teams.Qualifications:A minimum of 7 years in partner-facing, quota-carrying roles, focusing on partner business development or security channel sales in cloud services or SaaS environments.Demonstrated experience in managing and scaling strategic security partnerships, including MSSPs/MSPs, SIs, distributors, and technology alliance partners.Ability to articulate the business value of security solutions, translating customer needs into actionable security use cases (e.g., threat detection and response, posture management, SIEM/SOAR, IAM) and crafting compelling value propositions.Quick comprehension of observability and security technical concepts, with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proven success in driving sales opportunities from lead generation to deal closure, including effective negotiation and fostering long-term partner relationships.We value diversity at Datadog.
