Key Responsibilities:
Execute the global sales strategy through regular client and agency engagement both online and in-person, enhancing brand awareness and driving digital partnership opportunities for Lonely Planet.
Oversee designated customer relationships throughout the RFP response journey, including preparation, revisions, and management of digital/print media plans within the order management system for presentation to agency and advertiser clients.
Collaborate with Integrated Marketing and creative teams to brainstorm and deliver innovative projects for agency and advertiser clients.
Maintain precise pipeline details within the OMS to ensure accurate sales forecasting.
Work independently and collaboratively within a small team encompassing sales, ad operations, production, pricing, and delivery to ensure seamless execution of partnership campaigns.
Assess leads and identify genuine opportunities, determining optimal product mixes for clients to ensure profitable and effective campaigns.
Integrate cross-media strategies, leveraging Lonely Planet’s core selling propositions and creative processes for custom campaigns across all media types, from digital to print and mobile.

Join our Lonely Planet team as a Senior Partnerships Executive, where you will play a pivotal role in driving partnerships with clients and agencies to meet our digital sales targets across the West Coast, APAC, and International markets. In this position, you will focus on nurturing relationships and expanding strategic business with key travel-oriented clients, including tourism boards and other travel-adjacent brands such as airlines and hotels.
As the Senior Partnerships Executive, you will lead crucial conversations and strategic client pitches, respond to proposals, and represent Lonely Planet at various conferences throughout the year. Your expertise will be essential in implementing our global sales strategy, ensuring alignment among all stakeholders to foster growth.
This role acts as the primary liaison for assigned accounts during all presale phases of the sales cycle, collaborating closely with Integrated Marketing, Account Management, Creative, and Sales Operations teams. Your ongoing communication with clients will be vital in generating revenue through digital, print, licensing, and custom solutions.
