Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess:6-8+ years of extensive experience in managing and accrediting SCIFs, SAPFs, or collateral spaces in compliance with ICD 705 and national security standards.Deep expertise in RF shielding, TEMPEST countermeasures, Protected Distribution Systems (PDS), Red/Black signal separation, and physical security frameworks such as CNSSI 7003 and UL2050.A proven track record in developing emergency preparedness plans and conducting security education programs for diverse teams.Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with government representatives, architects, engineers, and contractors.

Join Systems Technology Research (STR) as a Senior Physical Security Specialist, where you will spearhead the design, development, and compliance initiatives for secure facilities, including SCIFs (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities), SAPFs (Special Access Program Facilities), and other classified environments. This role demands in-depth knowledge of ICD 705 standards, Department of Defense (DoD) protocols, and national security regulations to effectively manage risks, enforce stringent security measures, and achieve successful facility accreditations.
As an integral member of our security team, you will oversee the design of secure facilities, manage documentation, conduct inspections, and provide training to ensure STR’s sensitive operations are carried out in the highest security environments.
