As a Senior Planning Specialist at Bosch Group, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Source Planning (80% of your focus):
1. Managing planning for Local Distribution Centers (LDC), including supplier order placements and delivery tracking.
2. Overseeing import and export operations via Advanced Distribution Centers (ADC), ensuring timely orders and follow-ups.
3. Conducting plant performance management, focusing on backlog, on-time delivery, and process standardization.
4. Regularly assessing readiness with the plant to negotiate lead times, minimum order quantities, and production status.
5. Acting as a liaison between internal customers and the plant, providing transparency across the supply chain.
6. Coordinating logistics and warehouse operations in collaboration with the GS team.
Network Planning (10% of your focus):
1. Managing inventory at central warehouses.
2. Facilitating demand and supply planning and leveling.
3. Overseeing master data management and parameter settings.
4. Implementing stocking policies and safety stock management.
5. Monitoring and enhancing key performance indicators such as inventory levels, total cycle time (TCT), customer backlog (CBL), customer service levels (CSL), vendor backlog, and logistics costs.
Other Tasks (10%):
1. Driving improvements in supply chain processes.
2. Leading digital transformation and automation initiatives in daily operations.
