Qualifications
Requirements:8 to 11 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role, with 5 to 7 years focused on pre-sales in enterprise software.At least 3 years of professional experience with modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#).Proven experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems both in the cloud and on-premises.Strong track record of collaborating with customers to evaluate complex application architectures and providing technology-driven improvement recommendations.Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical and business concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical leadership.Strategic mindset with the ability to collaborate with sales teams and craft multi-faceted account strategies, aligning MongoDB and ecosystem resources towards a mutually beneficial account plan.Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in selling databases and/or deploying applications with major cloud providers.Familiarity with database programming and data modeling.Background in data engineering or AI/ML projects.Experience in modernizing legacy systems into scalable and efficient technology stacks.Knowledge of popular sales methodologies/frameworks such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
