Rawafid is on the lookout for a talented Senior Process Engineer with a focus on General and HVAC systems to enrich our vibrant engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with the design, analysis, and optimization of process systems to ensure the seamless operation of HVAC across various projects. You will engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to formulate process strategies, supervise engineering activities, and ensure adherence to industry standards and client specifications. Your specialized knowledge will play a crucial role in enhancing system performance, sustainability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and validate process calculations, including heat and mass balance, hydraulic calculations, and pump sizing.
- Assist in HVAC design by performing cooling load calculations for electrical rooms, MCC buildings, control rooms, and workshops, taking into account hot, humid, and coastal conditions (e.g., Ras Al-Khair environment).
- Design ventilation systems for chemical storage and hazardous areas.
- Execute pressurization calculations for clean rooms, control rooms, and critical spaces.
- Estimate utility consumption requirements, including compressed air, nitrogen, potable water, and service water systems.
- Provide process engineering support for non-SWRO systems, including CIP systems, chemical storage, waste neutralization, and HVAC-related process interfaces.
- Ensure compliance of HVAC and building services design with SBC and ASHRAE standards.
- Deliver process input for datasheets and specifications of general utility equipment.
