In the role of Senior Product Designer, you will spearhead the design of transformative student loan marketplace experiences across our platforms, including CollegeFinance.com and RefiRate.com. Your mission will be to translate complex financial concepts into intuitive, research-based user journeys that foster trust and empower millions to make informed borrowing decisions. This senior position emphasizes measurable impact through collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams.
You will engage at both strategic and executional levels, directing product vision, identifying opportunities, and crafting high-quality, impactful experiences that drive key metrics.
Key Areas of Contribution:
Lead the comprehensive design process for private student loan and refinancing experiences, ensuring user journeys enhance engagement, conversion, and long-term trust.
Champion experimentation across high-intent marketing funnels (SEM/SEO landing pages, comparison tools, application flows) to discover new growth avenues and enhance performance.
Develop and implement research strategies to gather insights, validate concepts, and guide large-scale product decisions.
Collaborate with Product teams to translate strategic objectives and OKRs into actionable design challenges, hypotheses, and metrics for success.
Craft clear, compliant financial workflows (applications, disclosures, prequalification tools) that harmonize regulatory requirements with user-friendly experiences.
Identify and cultivate opportunities in uncharted territories, providing structure, vision, and creativity to early-stage projects.
Work closely with Engineering, Content, and SEO teams to deliver technically feasible, accessible, and engaging experiences.
