Senior Product Manager (KYC / KYB)
Product - FinCrime
Ebury Madrid Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week
As Ebury expands into new markets, customer segments, and product lines, the establishment of robust Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) capabilities is essential for driving growth while ensuring regulatory compliance.
We seek a Senior Product Manager to oversee the complete KYC/KYB lifecycle for our clients within the Financial Crime Intelligence Product domain. You will define our customer identification processes, assess their risks, and continuously monitor those risks across individuals, SMEs, and intricate corporate structures.
This role reports directly to the Head of Financial Crime Intelligence Product.
What you’ll do
Product Ownership
- Balance customer experience, growth, and risk management throughout the onboarding and lifecycle of our clients.
- Define the KYC/KYB strategy in alignment with Financial Crime Intelligence Product objectives and overall company direction.
- Translate strategy into a clear, actionable roadmap for KYC and KYB processes.
- Manage jurisdiction-specific onboarding and regulatory compliance.
- Design and implement enhancements in customer KYC/KYB journeys, verification processes, dynamic Customer Risk Rating frameworks, ongoing due diligence, periodic reviews, and trigger-based risk assessments.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with first and second line operational and compliance teams to ensure effective, explainable, and audit-ready controls.
- Work closely with operations teams to optimize case management and review workflows and tools.
