(Senior) Product Manager - Name & Payment Screening

About the Role
At Ebury, our screening processes are pivotal controls that facilitate secure and scalable access to global financial services. As we broaden our range of products, sectors, and payment methods, we are enhancing our name screening and payment screening functionalities to be more automated, intelligent, and precise.
We seek a Product Manager/Senior Product Manager to lead our Financial Crime Intelligence Product domain, overseeing Name Screening and Payment Screening for customers, counterparties, and transactions.
You will take charge of the screening product area, collaborating closely with teams in First Line, Compliance, Engineering, and Data.
Your responsibilities will include managing vendor integrations, refining list/matching logic/fuzziness optimizations, and utilizing AI for reducing false positives in line with various product and business verticals’ compliance frameworks.
This position reports directly to the Head of Financial Crime Intelligence Product.
What You’ll Do
Product Ownership
- Oversee the Name Screening & Payment Screening product area throughout client onboarding, continuous monitoring, and transactions.
- Establish a strategic vision for your area, ensuring alignment with the overarching goals of the Financial Crime Intelligence Product domain and organizational direction.
- Translate this vision into a clear, actionable roadmap focusing on:
- Fiat to fiat transactions
- Fiat to crypto transactions (primarily stablecoins)
- Crypto to crypto transactions
- Card expenditures
- Optimize list sources for sanctions, PEP, and adverse media, aligning them with Ebury’s diverse compliance frameworks and risk appetite.
- Utilize data and research to pinpoint pain points and enhance fuzziness scores.
- Leverage AI technology to boost screening accuracy, including risk-based matching, prioritization, and alert systems.
