Job Summary
The Senior Product Safety Architect II plays a crucial role in defining and owning the comprehensive safety architecture for our Level 4 autonomous driving system. This position involves translating safety objectives and hazard analyses into effective system-level design decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in functional safety (UL 4600, ISO 26262) and a solid understanding of AI/ML safety challenges specific to autonomous systems. Collaboration with perception, prediction, planning, and control teams is vital to embed safety requirements throughout the development lifecycle. An architectural mindset is essential to ensure that safety properties are verifiable, traceable, and defensible within our safety case.
